We are officially back up and running with changes made to the website. The goal was to make this website a reflection of what our guild has to offer, to be consistent with our stated mission and to add value to our member’s experience with the guild.
Our missions:
- Assist members in the pursuit of spinning, weaving and fiber art through education, discussion and programs
- Check out the home page. You will find our most recent posts and what’s on our schedule.
- “Learn with us” on the navigation bar has helpful links in one location, information about our Dye Garden and eventually will have reading resources.
- Share crafts through demonstrations in our community
- The home page will provide a quick link to what is on our schedule.
- “What’s Happening” on the navigation bar will get you to the calendar which will list demonstrations.
- It also has a section for demonstrations so if you need to know where to go, you can see the address and a map.
- Promote friendship and understanding among members
- We’ve added other resources to the website including our bylaws, how to join, artist pages (a way to share with others the great work you create) and a member access only site where we will have the directory, the library list and equipment list in addition to archiving newsletters.
We are hoping that the site will be easier to navigate and become a resource for our members and the community. Have fun checking things out!
