Margaret Halas, a former Medina guild member passed away back on March 17, 2022. She was a talented crafter with an interest in spinning and knitting. Margaret worked a lot with leather and made much of her own equipment for one of her other passions which was horseback riding.
Her brother would like to offer us an opportunity to shop her crafting estate before the public sale. This special event will be on Saturday, September 3 from 10am to 3 pm. The Public Sale will occur on Thursday, September 9 and Friday, September 10.
Specific items for sale: Spinning wheel, Berninea sewing machine, industrial sewing machine, leather, and leather tools, Fiber (Rologs, batts, and yarn primarily wool) and books and patterns.
