Artist Bio:
Tara Lester joined LOCO in 2022. She crochets, knits, and is a novice spinner. She was inspired to learn to spin after visiting some of LOCO’s demonstrations. Tara is a self-taught spinner using You-Tube videos and listening to advice from guild members. Her favorite fiber when crocheting is using cotton and creating garments for herself and her daughter. She eventually hopes to sell her garments. The guild motivates and inspires her to continue her art and to hopefully start a small business. Tara lives in Elyria, Ohio.
