Ann Kelley loves making and creating things inspired by nature, story telling and color. She has been creating things since she was a child starting with knitting, crocheting, embroidery, cross stitch, sewing and pretty much anything with fiber.
She was introduced to weaving when she was in school to become an Occupational Therapist and bought her first loom when at the first hospital she worked at sold a table top loom. (Occupational Therapy has a long history of utilizing weaving and any type of hand work as a purposeful and meaningful way to heal and return to functional daily activities when dealing with physical, emotional and developmental challenges.)
Now a retired Occupational Therapist, Ann has been actively weaving for 15 years with beads, pin looms, small format tapestry looms and a Leclerc floor loom.
